2. Reshaping the Windows Taskbar and the Start Menu

i. Windows Taskbar:

A. Now the most important step is to modify the basic and taskbar setting.

--Right click on the taskbar and then click on options in show section which feel unnecessary to you.

You can copy this if you want.

-- Now converting the form of search from show search box to show search icon.

-- Now, again right click and then click on taskbar setting. The settings can be changed as
per the user's convenience.

You can copy these if you want.

-- Unnecessary apps pinned in the taskbar should be unpinned. Because too much apps destroy the look.

B. The apps needed to reshape the windows taskbar are:
--  TaskbarX
--  TranslucentTB

C. Setting up of apps:

-- Download both of these apps from the links which have been already provided above.
-- After downloading, open the setups and install them.
-- For TaskbarX, we need unzip the setup and then click on TaskbarX Configurator.
-- For TranslucentTB, we do not need to click on any setup as it is installed by the Microsoft store itself. We can open it by searching in the search bar.

D. Setting up features:

-- For TaskbarX we just need to open Taskbar Configurator and select the required setting as per user's convenience.

-- For TranslucentTB, we don't need to do anything as such. But if you want the taskbar to be transparent during the Maximum windows form then we just need to disable this:

ii. Windows Start Menu:

-- Go to Start settings by searching in the search box.

-- The settings can be changed as per the user's convenience.

You can copy this if you want.

-- Now organising the Start Menu. You can add apps in the start menu by right clicking and selecting Pin to Start and remove also by the same just you have to click Unpin from Start.

-- I  have organised the Start Menu with my apps which is as follows:

3. Clearing the Clutter of the Desktop:

i. Unnecessary apps, software shortcuts and folders present on the desktop of the windows 10 laptop / PC makes the Booting and performance very low. So, all the unnecessary shortcuts should be deleted. Any apps and software that the user uses should be pinned in the start menu. The most used like the browser and file explorer can be pinned in the Taskbar.

ii. If you want to keep some apps but you don't want to destroy the look then there is a solution to this, which is to hide the icons present in the desktop. You can do this by right clicking on the desktop, then click view and then uncheck 'show desktop icons'.

4. Adding some necessary application on the Desktop (not compulsory):

Some applications like This PC, Recycle Bin are very important for a windows 10 device. At times many of them get deleted or are never added so to add them follow these steps:
i. Go to Setting ==> Personalisation ==> Theme ==> Then click on Desktop icon settings

ii. Check the apps which you want on your desktop. Then click apply and ok.

You can copy if you want.

5. Changing graphics setting (only for windows 10 devices with GPU ):

This is for only windows 10 devices with GPU. I have Intel(R) HD Graphics 520. So I will show about the setting about this GPU. Other GPU's can also be optimized by this method but the placement and position of settings depends from GPU to GPU. Now, follow these steps:

i. Open the graphics software.
ii. Change the power setting to Maximum Performance if you are performance oriented.
If you are battery oriented then Maximum Battery life and if Both, then balanced mode.

6. Last fine touches(Optional):

If you are a dark mode fan then this is for you. Follow the steps to turn on dark mode on Windows 10:

i. Go to Setting ==> Personalisation ==> Colours
ii. Choose Dark.

-- Change the background as per the users choice by using the Bing wallpaper app but keep in mind that choose such a background in which the taskbar is visible.
