This post is the second part to the Microsoft Word Tips and Tricks - Home Tab. This is on the Font present in the Home Tab of the Microsoft Word. Lets begin with the font section of Word!
What is the font section? It the section which allows us to format the text present in the word document. The following features provided by this section are:

Now, lets deal with each feature one by one:
1. Font Type: This is the feature which allows to change the Font type or style. To use this feature you either have to set the type or style before typing or can be changed after by selecting the text and choosing the style. The most readable font type according to me for official and other purposes is Times New Roman.
2. Font Size: This feature allows us to change the font size which is increase or decrease. To use this feature you either have to set the size before typing or can be changed after by selecting the text and choosing the specific size. The most readable font size according to me is 12 or 14.
3. Bold: This feature makes the text Bold, thicker and makes that text to be considered as important. To use this feature you either have to set it before typing or can be changed after by selecting the text and clicking on the feature button. For example, this text is in Bold - Windows Tech
Shortcut key: Ctrl + B
4. Italics: This feature makes the text slanting which is required for certain words, like the Biological Names. To use this feature you either have to set it before typing or can be changed after by selecting the text and clicking on the feature button. For example, this text is in Italics - Windows Tech
Shortcut key: Ctrl + I
5. Underline: This feature underlines the text. The text can be underlined using different lines. To use this feature you either have to set it before typing or can be changed after by selecting the text and clicking on the feature button. For example, this text is Underlined - Windows Tech
Shortcut key: Ctrl + U
6. Strikethrough: This feature strikes out the text. To use this feature you either have to set it before typing or can be changed after by selecting the text and clicking on the feature button. For example, this text is strike out - Windows Tech
7. Subscript: This feature allows us to type in subscript that is writing below the text or word. This is required while typing chemistry formulae.
Shortcut key: Ctrl + =
8. Superscript: This feature allows us to type in superscript that is writing above the text or word. This is required while typing chemistry formulae.
Shortcut key: Ctrl + Shift + +
9. Clear all Formatting: This feature allows us to clear all the formatting added to text by selecting the text and pressing the button.
10. Text Effects and Typography: This feature allows us to add text effects and typography to text, like the word art feature. To use this feature you either have to set the effect before typing or can be changed after by selecting the text and choosing the effect.
11. Text Highlight colour: This feature allows us to highlight the text in different colours. To use this feature you either have to set it before typing or can be changed after by selecting the text and clicking on the button.
12. Font colour: This feature allows us to change the text colour. To use this feature you either have to set the colour before typing or can be changed after by selecting the text and choosing the colour.
